Leash is a dedicated transportation service for pets, providing safe, reliable, and convenient rides so you can simplify your day without rearranging your schedule.
At this time, Leash transports dogs and cats only. This allows us to focus on safety protocols and training specific to these species.
Your pet is driven by trusted, trained, and insured Leash drivers who undergo an extensive screening process. All drivers have professional or volunteer experience in pet care and have been long-time pet owners themselves.
Every Leash driver completes a comprehensive vetting process, including background checks, pet-handling assessments, safety training, and review of relevant work or volunteer experience. Many have backgrounds in veterinary care, grooming, daycare, or professional pet sitting.
Leash is designed to give you flexibility. When booking, you can provide secure access instructions (e.g., door code, key location) and let us know where your pet should be left upon return.
Most pets do great with Leash! Our drivers are experienced with pets of all temperaments, from shy to energetic. For safety reasons, a ride may be canceled if a pet becomes aggressive or poses a risk.
Ride pricing varies by market, distance, and typically ranges from $22-$30. Round trips are considered two one-way rides. New customers receive a 10% off on their first ride.
Leash accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Alternative payment services (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal) and cash/check are not accepted. Your payment method is charged automatically once the ride is completed.
Leash is exclusively for pet-only transportation, ensuring your pet receives dedicated and specialized care.
We follow strict safety protocols, including secure restraint systems, driver training, and real-time ride tracking. Our transportation protocols are based on New Jersey’s Administrative Code (N.J. Admin. Code § 8:23A-1.12), widely considered the most stringent pet transportation regulation in the U.S. These standards are applied consistently across all of our operating markets. Yes! If you’d like to set up recurring or routine rides, simply give us a call at 844-563-8486 and our team will be happy to assist you.
For your pet’s safety and comfort, we do not combine pets from different households in a single ride. This ensures our drivers can focus exclusively on your pet throughout the trip.
We do offer round-trip rides. However, our drivers do not wait at appointments at this time. After safely dropping your pet off at their destination, whether it’s daycare, grooming, or vet, the ride is considered complete.
