We want you to have as much information as possible to feel confident in your decision to book a ride with us. We’ve compiled a list of our most commonly asked questions and their answers. At this time we only drive dogs and cats.
Trusted drivers who are insured, screened, and trained. Many are lifelong pet owners or pet care professionals.
Every driver undergoes a thorough vetting process – which includes, work/volunteer experience, pet handling, safety tests and a background check. Many of our drivers have worked as veterinary technicians, groomers, daycare attendees, or dog walkers, and the majority have been lifelong dog owners and caretakers.
Leash offers the convenience of pet pick-up and drop-off without requiring you to be at home. When booking a ride simply provide instructions on how to enter your residence (i.e. garage code, hidden key location) and where to leave your pet when dropping-off at home (i.e. in a kennel, let roam free in home).
We hope so! Our drivers are trained to handle many temperaments. If a driver deems an animal as a danger to his or her safety, or is showing aggressive behavior, they reserve the right to cancel the ride.
Leash ride fares are based on mileage and differ from market to market, but roughly cost the same as a traditional rideshare.
Leash accepts all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discovery and American Express. We do not accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, cash or check.
When a ride is completed, the authorized amount will be charged to your preferred credit/debit card on file.
